Seafood import and export declaration

  After receiving the goods, the consignee should keep the bill of lading properly, the ordinary bill of lading must be the original bill of lading, the telex release bill of lading can be a copy, after the frozen seafood arrives at the port of destination, the consignee takes the bill of lading to the carrier or its agent for a bill of lading。

  Customs agents should submit the application form, import and export trade contracts, certificates of origin, packing lists, copies of bills of lading and bills of lading and other materials to the local import and export commodity inspection and quarantine authorities as soon as possible in order to complete the customs formalities。

  1.Fill in the customs declaration form

  Within 14 days from the date of arrival of frozen seafood at the port of destination, the customs agent needs to submit the relevant materials, such as declaration form, entry clearance form, import and export trade contract, certificate of origin, shipping list, copy of bill of lading and packing list to the local customs。

  2.Cooperate with customs inspection after arrival of goods

  After the customs agent applies to the customs declaration, it is necessary to wait for all the documents provided before the customs audit, after the documents pass the audit, the customs will notify the customs agent to check the time and place of the goods, the customs agent needs to notify the consignee to assist the customs inspection on the scene in a timely manner。

  3.Pay import duty

  If the Customs does not find any irregularities, the consignee will receive a notice of tax payment from the Customs, and the consignee must pay the tax within 15 days to avoid being charged a late fee of 5% per day。

  4.Pick up frozen seafood by customs clearance

  After the consignee has paid the duty to the designated bank, a bank receipt will be provided to the Customs. At this time, the Customs will affix the release stamp on the bill of lading and waybill, and the consignee can pick up the goods and ship the frozen seafood with the release stamp on the bill of lading and waybill。

  5.It is best to entrust a third party to declare

  Even the general customs declaration procedures are more complex, not to mention sometimes there are various abnormal circumstances, so even if your company is qualified to declare on its own, it is best to entrust a third-party customs broker to complete, in order to reduce costs and improve the efficiency of customs declaration。

  First determine the exporting country, not all countries can import seafood, only those countries (regions) that have obtained the inspection and quarantine access to China or countries that have carried out trade with China are allowed to import seafood;

  Clear aquaculture methods, if aquaculture products, animal entry permits are required;

  If you import frozen seafood, it is necessary to find out the location of the frozen warehouse, if not recorded in the customs, the frozen warehouse shall not be stored。
